the 2025 student Talent Show is...
Camp Stevenson!
Imagine a world where school is over and… No Grown-ups Allowed!
Welcome to Camp Stevenson, where the magic of childhood comes alive! Step into a world of endless fun, imagination, and celebration as we embrace the joy of being a kid! Whether you want to be a kid forever, never ever growing up OR if you just can’t wait to spread your wings and fly - Camp Stevenson is a place you will never want to leave, reminding us all to cherish the joy of childhood.
Join us for a wild and free adventure as our pirate performers take the stage, and share their talents and enthusiasm through the art of singing, dancing, acting, puppetry, stand-up comedy, musical instrument performances, and more!
Whether you want to put a new twist on an old camp favorite or a campy twist on something contemporary, or something completely different – we are here to support you. The theme is not meant to be restrictive – but more of a starting point for your creativity. The theme also influences the set design, the through-line of the show, the whole company act, the curtain call and, of course, the 5th Grade Skits and the 5th Grade Dance!!
While brainstorming your acts, we encourage you to keep in mind that we have limited storage space backstage during the show – especially with 100 performers entering and exiting through the wings. For example – If your talent is drumming – think about what kind of drums might be at a camp. Buckets? Bongos? Pots and Pans? What can easily and quickly be brought on and off stage but still allow you to show off your skills?
Encouraging acts inspired by all things camp, pool/beach/lake life, summer, friendship, vacation, celebration, togetherness, freedom, childhood, adventure, exploration, campfire stories, school spirit or memorable moments you have had at school– and as always original acts and acts with a Pirate twist are always fun!
