Back to School Picnic Committee
Next school year the Back to School Picnic will be a 2 hour event on the Stevenson Yard at the end of the first week of school on 8/18. A simple and fun way to jumpstart and celebrate the start of a new school year. There will be food and beverage booths at the event, but families are more than welcome and encouraged to just bring a blanket and a picnic of their own. It will be a fun experience to hang out with the other Stevenson families, reconnect and make new friends! We need 10 grown-ups willing to get cleared as volunteers before school begins in order to help FFS on the afternoon of the event.
Snow Glow Dance Committee
If you like to plan fabulous parties and hang decorations, this is the event for you! In December, we will take over the gymnasium at Dolores Huerta Middle School for a glow in the dark dance party!
Online Auction Committee
This is a very popular online fundraiser. If you want to get more involved, but prefer to volunteer from home -- this is a great opportunity for that! The committees main responsibility is reaching out to families and local businesses to get auction items donated. Lead roles include copywriting, data entry into the Bidding Owl website, managing teacher experiences, and managing classroom art projects/baskets.
Talent Show Committee
The 2024 student talent show is "Stevenson's Totally 80s Talent Show". The talent show is a very volunteer heavy event. Click here to see some of the volunteers opportunities.
Stevenson Rocks! Spring Carnival Committee
Stevenson Rocks is our school's end of the year family friendly carnival with live entertainment, food, games and prizes!! This a super fun, but very volunteer heavy event. Lead volunteers include games coordinator, entertainment coordinator, prizes & Rocks Shop coordinator, signage coordinator, equipment rentals coordinator, power and generator manager, and food coordinator.
