Q: Can I perform the same song I performed in the talent show?
A: Yes, so long as the song meets all the other guidelines outlined below.
Q: Can I play an instrument instead of using a backing track?
A: Yes. Must provide your own instruments. Please keep in mind that the stage will be outside and performer's families will need to help transport and setup the instruments in between acts.
Q: Will there be a stage?

Last year's stage was 16ft wide, 8ft deep. 1-2 ft high.
Q: Can I do a dance act instead of sing?
A: Not for Rocks. Please consider registering to perform in the talent show next year!

Sign Up begins Friday March 27th at 6pm. Sign Up ends Sat April 10th Midnight. (Sign up will end sooner if all the slots are filled).
Performances are outside during Stevenson Rocks and begin at approx 5:30pm. Let's rock!!

- It is recommended that you sign up via a laptop or computer rather than a mobile device.
- 15 acts can sign up on a first come, first serve basis via a button on this page that will take you to a Google Form.
- Song choice is also first come, first serve. It doesn't hurt to prep a backup song choice! If two performers choose the same song, both performers will be notified ASAP. The performer who registered first will get to perform the song unless they choose to perform WITH the other performer. The performer whose registration is timestamped later, will have 48 hours to choose a new song, or risk losing their spot to another performer.
- Think Karaoke style but memorized and performance ready! Costumes encouraged!
- Be prepared to upload an edited 2 MINUTE (or less) mp3 of your instrumental track within 24 hours of your signup to save your spot!
- Acts must attend and be performance ready/memorized during at least one dress rehearsal after school Tues 4/14 in the auditorium (afterschool until 4:30pm). Acts will rehearse with parent volunteers from the talent show team. No other grownups will be allowed in the auditorium during the rehearsal unless they are actively volunteering. - Songs should have a Rock 'n Roll or Coachella vibe (not Disney or musicals unless they fall into that genre).
- Songs/acts must be 2 minutes or less. Keep them wanting more!
- Students may submit to perform in one act only (not including the 5th grade dance number or Wild One Flash Mob).
- Limit is 3 microphones per song/slot. (If more than one performer, all performers need to register and include the other performer's first and last name on the registration form.)
