FAQ:
Q: Can I perform the same song I performed in the talent show?
A: Yes, so long as the song meets all the other guidelines outlined below.
Q: Can I play an instrument instead of using a backing track?
A: One guitar is permitted. No other big instruments. Guitar can be plugged into the sound system.
Q: Will there be a stage?
A: Yes, there will be a 16ft wide, 8ft deep stage. 3 ft high.
Q: Can I do a dance act instead of sing?
A: Dance acts with one or two performers will be considered if they can be safely performed on the 16 by 8 stage. No gymnastics acts. Song should be Rock N Roll or Kidchella vibe.

- It is recommended that you sign up via a laptop or computer rather than a mobile device.
- 10 singers can sign up on a first come, first serve basis via a button below that will take you to a Google Form.
- Song choice is also first come, first serve. It doesn't hurt to prep a backup song choice! If two performers choose the same song, both performers will be notified ASAP. The performer who registered first will get to perform the song unless they choose to perform WITH the other performer. The performer whose registration is timestamped later, will have 48 hours to choose a new song, or risk losing their spot to another performer.
- Think Karaoke style but memorized and performance ready!
- Be prepared to email an edited 90 second (or less) mp3 of your instrumental track within 24 hours of your signup to save your spot!
- Acts must attend and be performance ready/memorized during at least one dress rehearsal after school Tues 4/16 or another date TBD in the auditorium (afterschool until 4pm). Acts will rehearse with parent volunteers Jess McTighe and Marilyn Loyd. No other grownups will be allowed in the auditorium during the rehearsal unless they are actively volunteering.
- Songs should have a Rock 'n Roll or Coachella vibe (not Disney or musicals unless they fall into that genre).
- Songs/acts must be 90 seconds or less. Keep them wanting more!
- For the 10 Student Performances -- must be current students at Stevenson Elementary. 1st grade - 5th grade Only.
- Students may submit to perform in one song only (not including the 5th grade dance number or Thriller Flash Mob).
- Solos or duets only. Limit is 2 performers per song/slot. (If more than one performer (aka a duet), both performers need to register and include the other performer's first and last name on the registration form.)
