Arts Programs

​Research has consistently shown that students who have access to a quality arts program in school show enhanced problem solving skills, improved academic performance, better focus, creative thinking and a sense of accountability. 
 
Last year, the benevolence of our parents and community members helped FFS raise enough to fund a unique arts class for EVERY grade in this school year.

Technology Programs

​Technology continues to evolve and it is important to prepare our students for the world ahead.  Our teachers need the right tools and a relevant curriculum so we can reach this goal.  
 
Over the past few years the FFS community has been able to fund new iPads and laptops for the school, support our teacher's professional development and help maintain the digital literacy program to give our students a solid technical foundation.

All of the following programs and events were funded by your contributions to Families For Stevenson… including a ​unique arts curriculum for EVERY grade.

In School Arts Education Classes

• Dance for ALL grades (12 Weeks)
• Music for TK, Kindergarten and 1st grade (12 Weeks)
• Musical Theatre for 2nd Grade (10 Weeks)
• Visual Arts for 3rd Grade (10 Weeks)
• TBD for 4th Grade (10 Weeks)
• Musical Scoring for 5th Grade (10 Weeks)

Technology/Classroom Programs

• Stem Lab Upgrades
  
• ​AV Equipment for the Auditorium
• Teacher Support Fund (in-classroom necessities)
• Librarian Lunch Hour
• In-School Field Trip (4th & 5th Grade)

Volunteers Needed

FFS events are 100% parent run which means we need your help.  Volunteer to plan an event or help out on the day of.  Want to know more? Click Here!
